Up in the mountains of flagstaff it reached about 90 degrees in the day and 50 at night.

I am still working on figuring out exactly what plant this is.

I believe this is a Robinson's annual cicada. They were all around the campsite.

Some moth or butterfly I found at the base of the climbing rock

This looks like some kind of squash bug, we found it on a trail.

The same squash bug as early, the heart marking on the back was quite interesting.

This one looks like an urosaurus ornatus (ornate tree lizard) to me

This is just a patch of grass next to a rock, I liked its simple, calming look

To me this looks like an erigeron divergens, however I am not well-educated in botany so I could be incorrect

I am not entirely sure exactly the species of this spider, however it looks like a wolf spider to me. This one was carrying an egg sac around. Contact me if you want a better view of the egg sac.

Some deer we found heading back on the off-road trail away from the canyon.
